Muscle stimulation, pain therapy and massage in one unit. The SEM 40 can do this by simulating the body's own pulses, which are transmitted by transcutaneous electrodes to muscle and nerve fibres. This means that the electrical impulses are practically painless, all you can feel is a gentle tickling or vibration.
